Carhartt Mens Winter Jacket
I thought this was an over-priced jacket when I first saw it but many people I know who work in construction often rant about how good Carhartt is so I decided to give this one a try.
Keep in mind that I live in CO and temperatures can drop to the single digits, also I own many of those "puffy" jackets. The problem with these "puffy" jackets is that they make me sweat, often I'd be outside shoveling snow or walking and my back and my armpits will start sweating in the middle of 30 degree weather. This is where this jacket accomplishes at what it does best, it let's the extra heat out of the jacket so you won't be sweating buckets in the middle of winter. Sounded like a marketing gimmick at first but I soon found out that it actually does work.
When I first opened it I thought "Whoa! this is too thin to keep anyone warm." True the jacket is pretty thin, but it's actually warmer than most jackets I've owned. Just keep in mind that I wouldn't wear this in 30 degree weather or below. One time the temperature dropped to 8 degrees Fahrenheit and the jacket pretty much disappeared, but keep in mind that Carhartt also has warmer jackets for colder weather. However if you own this one, this can be solved by simply wearing a simple sweater underneath and that will keep you warm.
I've been using this jacket for over a year and it's gotten dirt, snow, rain, paint, you name it. It still works like a miracle. I love it. I bought this jacket for the sole purpose of taking it to work but I like it so much I wear it everywhere now, so I'm planning on buying a new one.

Carhartt Women's Water Proof Jacket
This jacket is a wonderful heavy duty rain coat. I like th nylon cuff's that help to keep the warmth in, but if you don't like tight sleeves on your wrists or hands it might be an issue. I live in a rain forest and have always stayed dry with this jacket. The cut of the jacket is very flattering. My favorite part about this jacket is that it keeps me warm and dry without a lot of bulk. I always get lots of compliments on this jacket where ever I go.This is the best Women's Carhartt Waterproof Jacket made.
Carhartt Waterproof Jacket
I am an electrical contractor and I needed a rugged jacket that would stand up to rain, wind, and abuse in general. I have purchased many different clothes from many different manufactures in my 14 years in the trade, and I can say that in general Carhartt products are the best for my use. So when I needed a jacket that was waterproof, I went to REI and looked at Patagonia, Colombia and others. First those jackets seemed expensive and mostly I was unimpressed by how light and cheep they seemed. Then I started looking on-line and found this Carhartt jacket. I was hesitant at first after reading some of the reviews, but I am glad I went through with the purchase. It is by far the best jacket I have ever purchased. It is not bulky, yet it is make out of what looks like Cordura. As it states it is weatherproof. So I tested it in a rain storm yesterday. I was on a service call on a roof fixing an electrical problem at an apartment complex. I had the hood on and the drawstrings tight, also the drawstrings around the bottom of the jacket keep it snug. I was not wet at all. The water just beads up on the outside of the jacket, like a car with a good wax job. Its has three zippered outside pockets that work great, and have tabs on them for ease of use. I had a check in the "map" pocket that did not get wet at all. It is comfortable to wear and flexible enough to work in. I ordered a large and the sizes seem to run big, but I can also wear a nice thick sweatshirt underneath. I am planning on purchasing more of these and putting my company logo on the front and giving them to my best customers.
Bottom line is this is a great jacket, rugged, waterproof, and comfortable and I can tell it will last along time!

Carhartt Quilted Flannel Jacket
I'd like to throw in another endorsement for this jacket. The fit & finish, as well as the classic design, make this my new favorite coat. I bought the black version and it came with a beautiful, fire engine red flannel liner that's very warm and comfortable. It comes with two generous inside pockets - the left one with a velcro closure and the right one with a zipper closure. Stitchery and attention to detail are first rate. I'm 6' 2" and a 38" waist and the Large fits perfectly. The outer shell is a little stiff, but that just tells me the material is dense and will probably be very durable. Well done Carhartt.
Phil in Oklahoma writes....The flannel lining is perfect for northern Oklahoma winters. On days with 30 to 50 degrees it keeps you comfortable with just a shirt. Add a Hoodie underneath and you are good down to 5 below. The canvas resists tearing on barbed wire, the zipper is heavy duty and trouble free, and it gives good freedom of movement for riding and roping. These are "the nuts" for winter cowboying. With everyday use it will last at least 2 winters until the canvas starts to fray. The blanket lining is a little too light, and the heavy black lining is too hot for long days when the temperature warms.

Carhartt Artic Quilt Jacket
This coat is so well made. A great tough, weather proof material that last forever.I'm a Landscape Mason. We work from March until January every year and when it gets cold here in Maine the Carhartt gear comes out. Insulated bibs and the Arctic Coat. Just simply abuse this stuff and wash it once or twice a week. It will outlast your car.t's cute full, with extra spacer in the shoulder so you can move well without being restricted. Two inner pockets with closing flaps. Fully lined. This is an outdoor coat that can take what Winter dishes out, dry clean and look brand new. I purchases the Navy and it's super stylish. When it comes to a winter coat,I strongly recommend the Carhartt Artic Quilt Jacket.
Carhartt Womens Jacket
I love this coat! I do wish it were a little longer, but it's also nice that it doesn't bunch up when you sit. Very warm and comfortable. These definitely run small, so be aware when ordering. I like coats to fit a little bit so that they are comfortable with sweaters on, so I ordered this coat in XXL, and I would normally buy a Large. It fits perfectly with extra room for bulky sweaters and zips comfortably. I have long arms and the arm length is PERFECT. And the purple is lovely. Very, very happy with this purchase. If you're looking for a carhartt womens jacket. Then I'd strongly recommend this coat.
Carhartt Sierra Jacket
I needed a warm, well made coat for the winters in North Florida. I know, I know...you say it doesn't get cold in North Florida. Well, it was 21 degrees the other morning! Anyways, on to the review.
I've always heard that Carhartt clothing was built to survive damn near anything and warm as well. After researching many coats with so-called 'techno' features I decided on the Sierra Jacket. I couldn't be more happy.
Even though the jacket is made in Mexico, Carhartt keeps their quality control in line. The stitching and seams are top-rate. The 'duck' material is very stiff and quite resistant to the elements. The two interior pockets are a nice feature. One pocket has a velcro closure and the other has a zipper. The interior of the jacket, as well as the hood are sherpa lined. Sherpa is a synthetic wool type material to keep in warmth. The jacket is very warm and quite comfy.
One feature that really impressed me is the size of the outer zipper pull. It's huge! You can pull the zipper up while wearing gloves. This is a very nice touch.
All-in-all this is a top-rate jacket. I like the dark brown color which should wear well and look better with age.

Carhartt Men's Jacket
I work out doors, exposed to the element and I only wear Carhartt. Everything else is second best. Jacket is water repellent, hood is a must.
Great jacket! Very warm! I've only warn it a few times but it fits great. I got a Tall size because I'm 6'5" and I don't think I've ever had a jacket fit so well. Looking forward to having this for the bitter Minnesota winter. It's stiff at first, but that's what you'll get with tough gear like this.
I use it for hunting, ice fishing, and anything else I do outdoors. This carhartt mens jacket is all ya need for the brutal winters.

Carhartt Thermal Lined Coat
My nephew asked for this carhartt lined coat for Christmas. I couldn't believe the quality when I got it in the mail. We are outdoor people, and we have many labradors. The fabric is so tough that no branch or dog jumping up can damage it. It's got a waterproof coating so rain beads off. This coat was made to last forever, it's very warm, and it looks good to boot. He hasn't taken it off yet. In fact, he asked for the same fabric coveralls to wear over the jacket for brush clearing work in the extreme cold.
The duck fabric is indestructible; the "sandstone" is a softer fabric. The regular duck is still comfortable; just wanted you to know the difference. I don't think that the microsanded one would last as long, but if you're just wearing it for looks and not rugged work I would say it's A Ok..:)
